For immigrants from the Southern Hemisphere, life in Vermont brings a cold that’s both literal and deeply unfamiliar.

I was born and raised in Perú, and everything I create is filtered through that lens. The colors, the rhythms, the traditions, and even the silences of my upbringing shape my voice as a lettering artist. My work is a way to stay connected to where I come from—to honor my culture, question its complexities, and celebrate its beauty through letterforms. Being Peruvian isn’t just my background—it’s the foundation of my artistic language.
